Meet the Clinician

Allison Thompson, MA CCC-SLP

Allison Thompson is a speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of clinical experience specializing in complex communication needs. Her practice focuses on two highly specialized areas: custom AAC system design and programming, and evidence-based voice therapy for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

She is passionate about helping people regain their voice and communication autonomy. After years of working with individuals who had limited or no functional communication, she developed a deep expertise in AAC programming and later expanded into specialized Parkinson’s voice therapy. Her approach combines technical precision with genuine compassion, always centering the individual’s goals, dignity, and daily life.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
